Exoskeleton that can assist with walking and arm strength

JOURNAL

Day 1: June 2nd (3 hours):

Day 2: June 3rd(2 hours):

-did some research on the mechanics of the arms. using pneumatic cylinders for arms, which is for more strength. and using linear actuator for legs, which is for support. then the sensors will detect muscle activites and the actuators and stuff will move accordingly. sensor for this is emg, flex( elbow_), force sensor and gyro.

Day 3: June 4th(2 hours):

  • started with cad. im using 125mm stroke, 25mm bore pneumatic cylinders. the red thing is arms image

Day 4: June 5th(5 hours:

  • done with main arm mechanic. did some finishing touches. this looks good enough ig. now i need to make the mount for the arms and stuff. im gonna use a tie rod end thing with a bolt. kinda like hacksmith's elysium exoskeleton. image image

Day 5: June 13th(5 hours):

  • couldnt do more work cuz school and i was sick. done with most of the leg stuff. im gonna add 2 pnuewmatic cylinder for each leg. image image

Day 5: June 27th(3 hours):

  • not alot of work done cuz of school but im finally done!!! so the leg exoskeleton will have linear actuators. and the arms will have penumatic cylinders. i used pneumatic cylinders in the 3d model for the legs cuz i couldnt find any good 3d models for the linear actuator. image image
