Those relationship bracelets that buzz whenever you press it, except open source

Day 3/4: June 30th/July 1st

sleep deprevation on top frfr

today i found out that JLCPCB has a parts catalog, so this will make it way easier to find the parts i need :yay: connected up a lot of the PCB, think i could actually submit this before undercity OwO

this BETTER find a way to be the correct size

Day 3: June 30th

Holy moly i've been procrastinating

anyway, i've been doing some research, and ive finally finalized the idea.

Ill be using a RAK3172 for my processing, I decided to give up on the 30km distance.

I tried using a ESP32 and communicating over wifi, but i realized it wouldnt work if you left your house, and i want it to work everywhere.

Day 2: June 4th

woah ok this is for the highway call :3

I did a little bit more research into what I want to use, I'm creating a draft BOM here: - USB C Receptacle

  • RP2040

  • SW_Push (i realize this isnt an actual part :P)

  • MCP73831

  • Some sort of LiPO Battery (wth does the apple watch use and can i have it)

  • (RGB??) LED (for glowing on press + charging indicator?)

  • Diodes + Resistors + Capacitors

  • Coin Motor

  • Cellular/LoRaWAN (still hanging on to that hope) module

Day 1: June 3rd

weird how i started this when i barely have any progress on SOSStick (go star it right now pal)

anyway, it's a lot of the same (original) concept, except in a watch. If you're too lazy to go to SOSStick, I wanted to create a device that could send messages to other devices across very long distances.

I got a lot done today too! I started making the schematic here:

Don't really know if it'll all fit, which is why I'm just placing random parts down as a proof of concept. Maybe instead of having a case, it'll just be a wearable pcb...
