Basic idea

I found a lot of dryer options out there. Creality Space Pi, Sunlu's countless offerings, but none of them seem to go above 65-70c, which is needed for drying some high temp materials like nylon and PCCF. My goal with this project is to make something that can get above 100c, way higher than commercially available options. I intend to do this using a PTC heater, which sends AC voltage through heater fins with a fan blowing voer them. I need to find a fan that is capable of handling over 100c, as most common fans start to struggle over 80c. Ill need to be careful with the AC wiring and add a bunch of safety relays for, well, safety.

I started the design by making the frame. I want to be able to keep two spools in this dryer, so I made it big enough for that. I made the size parametric so I can change the dimensions if my estimations werent good enough. I plan to add a bunch of insulation to this, so I will probably need to make it larger. The frame is held together with blind joints, which are cheap and fairly strong. It will also have aluminum panels bolted on.
